I finished!! Well the neighbors spring oats at least. Best haven't day of the year so far. 45ac yielded very well and dry but the straw started off wet but after a couple of hours it got far better. Now a change of knife and see if the linseed will go in a bit.

Sunday teatime, last 15acres of wheat finished (at 16.5%)

Tedious bitty harvest, but enough dryish weather to keep up to the combine with straw etc

Might have a day off tomorrow. Seems wrong on a Monday though - bet I don't.....

80 acres of beans left never known a harvest like this so stop start not a lot of dry corn been at it for 8 weeks now will finish tomorrow come hell or high water

Chomped of 30 AC of linseed today. Wouldn't go Untill 1pm and by 2.15pm it was cutting nice and dry

Go to fields done then move down to the bottom of the farm and just about managed to get headlands off the last two fields before I new it was time to call it a night with the combine at 7.45pm.

So I went baling instead. Under 200ac left now. Slowly getting there.

finished at home farm with Parkin after maize yesterday. Dry and yielding close to what I hope for. Final 35 acres wheat up the road today or tomorrow .

Finished w wheat last week and managed to start peas Saturday, cut 30 acres and cleared 20 acres of W beans yesterday afternoon, which now leaves.
30a W beans
15a s beans
30 s wheat
30a peas
10a s oats
60a linseed

I was hoping to clear the beans and peas, today and tomorrow, but over night rain has stuff that plan.

All was not lost, we wrapped up the last bit of linseed, probably done about 3 t/ha.

finished at 2. 30 this afternoon. missing it already , god its hot out here! seems a long drawn out affair but not put a new lifter or finger on and only 1 knife section. would have blown off this afternoon but on standby for neighbor the riddles have dropped out his massy!
