Chris Packham to deliver petition to rewild Balmoral today

I gather Chris has called upon the Royal Family to take the lead in rewilding

I heard a clip where he stated that Balmoral’s 60000 acres are “barren” and should be turned in to a temperate rain forest

He only got 100,000 for his petition. Surely someone's started a counter petition by now ?

The great British public have started emptying supermarket shelves today- according to the Daily Mail, so if it isn't strictly true, the GBP will be whipped into panic so it will become true- so perhaps soon it will be realised that food production is necessary, or am I being naive?

Maybe it would be in our interests to stoke that fire.

Why doesn't he focus on protecting the actual rainforest from deforestation to produce food that's shipped half way across the globe to replace what could have been produced locally..
Because he dont care about that.
He is now pure anti shooting.
But he goes about stopping shooting via the back door.
Pressure to rewind Royal estates, means if they do, shooting stops.

Thing is, even if he were to buy a farm, it would be likely to be funded by donations from his followers, not from or solely from food production like we have to
There is a rumour going round, he has bought a farm between Ribblehead & Hawes (some on here will know that road) & is going to rewild it!!!! (wont take long!! as it is rush city up there anyway) https://www.onthemarket.com/details/10701048/ Reapet this is a Rumour.
