3 years ago we were selling ewes, I was in the ring. They were £10 below the mark. I shook my head and said let them run. Next lot came in, Grandad stood up and said “let the lot run, no point arsing about”
that got a few funny looks! Took them home, 3 weeks later tried again averaged £18 over the reserve that night!

I get what ur saying but re read what I wrote dealers are needed to for trade as well at timesI don’t know of him so won’t pass comment on him, but on your ‘dealers’ comment…
Does nobody remember 2001, when F&M was spread from the NE, through Longtown, down to mid-Wales, Devon, Oxfordshire, etc, all by dealers buying and shipping nationwide?
