Strange as it maybe sounds I felt like a king driving it. but i really appreciate what I have now and like to think it gave me a decent work ethic and the drive to do better.
17 year old me loved driving the Dexta, no cab, no radio (neighbours enjoyed the singing ) no air con, no syncromesh, hand throtle, knob to push in & out to transfer oil from lift arms to tipping pipe.
Neighbour had constructed his own foot throttle , Something of a local hero

Happy days for sure, now if you asked a 17 year old to drive one they’d cry.
