What did you build over Christmas 2021

Wow, are you planning invading somewhere with all them?😆

I’ve had a couple of the cheapy polystyrene helicopters and planes and really enjoyed them, but the helicopters were purely indoor/shed and the plane controls used to lock out if it went out of range. Young lad chased it for 1/4 mile over tattie drills a few yr ago with me chasing after him shouting to keep to the wheelings🥵

another one that intrigues me is the tanks, but they’re ££££. Or boats. Son thinks a submarine would be fun or an aircraft carrier with real planes……….. 😵💫

That’s the one beauty of a drone….lose signal or get low on battery and it automatically comes back to land again.

Need a proper 2.4ghz system for flying, will be out of sight before it’s out of range.

In conclusion none of us have really grown up 😂
My excuse is that my wife reads a lot, including biology, psychology, one of the theories she came across was that play is an important part of ones mental health which in turn helps ones gut health.

Sometimes wonder if she regrets telling us that. Especially on nights like tonight when Wii sports nearly descended into a riot 🤣.

Terrible mix when one child’s a bad loser, one’s a bad winner, and daddy cheats

🤭👌

Zetros completed, and boy does it have some poke! Not very fast but just keeps on driving, had it climbing a slope over 50 degrees no problem. The reduction hubs are a nice feature and the locking diff’s work well and make a big difference, I may try some softer springs under it though as the one out the box are very stiff and reduced the axle travel a lot. All in all though a very satisfying build and really happy with it. Think I may have to put it back to back with the dumper and see which has the most pull 😂

Carved this little lot as a 'Christmas tableau' to entertain the younger grandkids. The mouse running up the tree has lost its ears for some reason and they took ages to carve. The larger owl took two weeks to do but I'm only a beginner. That's supposed to be a river of epoxy resin running through the middle but had to be a stream as the resin is too bloody expensive. At least the bear's caught something.

Loving that!

Has anyone on here got the sadly retired Xerion? I quite fancy it but would have to resort to eBay to get one. Some clever buggers out there have made triple mowers to attach to it.

That’s one I wish I’d bought as well, as usual though they make silly money as soon as they go out of production!
