Apologies if other threads are discussing this.

But did anyone else hear the forthcoming yearlong discussion on meat?

It's beyond my skillset to get involved but it needs strong input to push back on any Red Herrings

Tease at 1minute and then the full discussion at 51 minute 30 seconds

I don’t need to listen to any of that to know that it will all be complete and utter bollox. The BBC absolutely will not listen to scientists and researchers who would tell them some actual facts. They are not a fact based organisation.

Anyone want to play Joseph Poore bingo?

Good morning

You need to put your researchers on here:

https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?forums/-/list

Tell them to spend a few days reading everything that has been posted re meat and the environment.

Don’t get Joseph Poore or Mike Berners Lee onto your programme. They are peddling fake science in order to generate research income and sell books.

And don’t bother getting anyone from the NFU or AHDB on, they are completely clueless.

It’s chock full of misinformation and lack of context. Red meat causing cancer etc etc. Land use without any context or reference to the fact it’s byproducts from human food, etc. He made reference to methane but didn’t mention why it wasn’t the big issue, does he even know about GWP*? The only bright spot was right at the end when he mentioned rotations. Good job it was only a few minutes long.
