What diet would achieve this, we are currently feeding 50/50 maize/red clover plus 2kg crimp a head in TMR form, am worried starch will make the fat, rather than grow

We're separating Angus bullocks and heifers now for finishing. Heifers were just getting to fat before they were finished. Both on good silage but bullocks on a finishing blend and the heifers stop on a rearer nut.

They will manage the situation like they always have - pay the farmers just enough but not enough if u know wat I mean, it's wat happens when the job gets in to few hands & unfortunately it's not gonna change We're stuck with it.......
