I knew I still had this somewhere, I got this in 1991 when I was just 6 years old for Christmas, I remember going to the Jolly Giant with my mum and dad to pick it. Back then it retailed for £70 so I was a very lucky boy but this Lego set was a childhood dream of mine. I absolutely adore it even now, 31 years later. I’d say 95+ % complete, some bits I’m going to replace due to discolouring on the light grey, especially the front grille pieces, and wheels. Have also found a new sticker set on eBay so will freshen it up with those even though the originals have held up amazingly well. Even the box and instructions are in amazing condition, perhaps my OCD was a thing even when I was 6 lol.

Then it’ll get pride of place on my shelves! :)

I love the old school chiseled angular look of the older lego compared to the modern sculpted & jelly mold looks made up of special pieces.
