Been a good trade for a while at Cirencester. I didn’t go today But got some very good culls and some very bad to go in next week.

I thought anything £95 or over for the hoggs and anything £30 or over for the ewes would be a bloody good trade so pleased

Trade seems to have picked up there a fair bit. I’ll try a few lambs to Ciren too.
It’s further for me than to Salisbury but the roads are so good it doesn’t take much longer.
Much better than a couple of years ago. Very close for me, I can get 5 loads in without to much rushing about.
£104 average for a mixed bunch of hoggs In thirsk. Anywhere from £77 to £132. A few maybe were a bit on the lean side but will take it.
Tbf when theres a 10 acre gravel carpark available but you use the lawn infront of the entrance to park it does draw attention! The new zealand chains holding the ramp semi closed with a cow with her head out over it draws the scrutiny

Well they are bad to draw at this time of year. You (like me) are in between the devil and the deep blue sea!
Hold on while the price drops or draw them a bit harder and take what comes.
The price didn’t get too high (or hasn’t yet) to be hanging on too long with these sheep. They haven’t got far down to go to make it look poor.
I didn’t send any lean ones but did send some not as good that’s for sure
Yep, 36 kg ones brought me down today but they are gone now and that’s fine
