Just put a free bar on fill all the people up with drink then wait for them to come down would be very entertaining
They got some stick when they got down. 3 of them were phsically shaking. They were escorted to the boundry by locals. I hope they were shaken by it as they diddnt mind hurling abuse when people were walking in with their kids.fuucking parasites

Sorry for going back here…..

“throw money at the poor”. Some comment.

We live in a supposed first world country with endless millionaires and billionaires, there shouldn’t be poor people. Food banks should not be a thing in this country. It’s embarrassing and brings huge shame mainly on these lemons in charge right now. They look after their mates and big business. Wages stay the same whilst everything else rockets up.

And spare me the iPhone and sky sports pish that’s branded about by Tories.
There's always going to be rich and poor, it's not just the UK that have that problem. Life's not fair.

Better if they had given them food vouchers, some will just blow it because they cannot budget money. I have posted that alot of people didnt need this latest handout so more could have gone to those that really needed it. Get abit tired tbh of seeing some overweight pinked haired slob crying on tv saying they only eat every other day etc, must be one hell of a sitting when they do eat. There not living on carrots and water thats for sure.

Should have sent Tracey up to have a quiet word with them;)
The word she had when they came down certainly wasnt quiet, i love tracey to bits but i wouldnt want to be on the wrong side of her.
The quote of the day came from Her Husband Michael to the vegans.. where do we send the complementary tickets for next year as the mart couldnt pay for publicity like this.

ABP were £6.60 this week ( they dropped it 10ppk when markets were going dearer ) so the +25ppk means they are up 25ppk on the week at £6.85.

Still not enough imo to be level with markets, needs to be at least another 10ppk above £6.85 to be on a par with liveweight!

Now that's over, let's get back to Sedge and whether trade was on 🔥 or 💩!
I heard strong stores were a real trade...only hearsay...i did not go

The day of days!

Record top price for stirks at the centre ever seen! ( and i suspect any market in the SW of England other than perhaps for show animal/ pedigree breeding bull but even then i do not think anywhere has ever had stirks to todays top prices!

Lim steer circa 10 or 12 months old going to a commercial finisher hit £1285 in the stirks, another at £1250 to the same good home, Angus 12 month old steer to £1200 and so it goes on!

Not to be outdone in the sheep section store lambs averaged £106 head and AND couples to £375 an outfit!

But not left behind in the store cattle ring trade really was on fire and much much sharper on the week, trade topped out at £1780 head for a steer, pen after pen £1400/1500 head but what looked the dearest were the smaller grazing cattle, WOW what a trade they were! R grade 450 kilo steers anything from £1200 to £1295 head, heifers slightly lighter £1000 to easily £1100 + head time and time again!

Deadweight up next week and well over £4.40 kilo now, empty sheds, plenty of cheap straw and silage pits full to bursting across the UK with very high quality first cut silage and cattle numbers very short is only driving trade onwards and upwards.

I’ve been watching a few cattle sold and sold some of our own and I genuinely think they are slowly getting dearer although too slowly
