Whenever news comes through of Ukrainian success or more arms deliveries the pro genocide Putin boys on here arrive 🙄 Almost as if they were told to.
Just to prove my point
You had a closed mind when it came to Brexit and didn't realise you had to leave, you have a closed mind now and insults are your only answer.
Perhaps Old Mac was wrong all those years ago when he said you could do better, perhaps you can't

Thank goodness there are still one or two countries with leaders possessing a brain rather than a desperation to be seen to be popular, it is painfully obvious to anyone with an ounce of sense that Ukraine have little if any chance of forcing Russia out of Eastern Ukraine no mater how much you may wish it.
Prolonging this war will simply result in Ukraine losing more of it’s country & people until some type of negotiated ceasefire is found which is the only way to bring this to an end.
Russia is able to hit targets anywhere in Ukraine & as Western arms continue to arrive this will become only too clear, where are the world leaders trying to bring this to an end, sadly they are in the main terrified of not being seen to be in love with the Ukrainian leadership & are simply making this whole tragic episode far worse.
The world is now going through a phase thanks in the main to social media where it's a case of "if you aren't with us you are against us" which is a very dangerous way of looking at things!!

Suppose its a tricky one Brian. I am no diplomat or world statesman (!!!) but negotiate and end to hostilities now with Russia gaining a fifth of Ukraine and all is well. Russia then regroups and spend next few years rearming. And then what Mr Putin or his next autocratic leader comes back for the next episode. The Russian government seem unable to uphold treaties, but then Uk cannot speak I suppose. Maybe its the way of the world - Lion eats mouse. Live in a small country and a larger one will dominate and take over. Has been same over time. We all thought this has come to an end with 1945 and the UN. Maybe wrong. Anyway a bit of water to cross to get to Lincolnshire.

I have no answers by the way. Just pleased I am not one of those in charge - on all sides of the hostilities.

Be honest, do you really think a few more token tanks & arms will change the course of the war, all those hundreds of tanks didn't do the Russians much good did it?
As long as the Russians have air support & longer range weapons the Ukrainians are really up against it.
Don't ask me what's the answer to all this now as it's all got too far out of hand for a peaceful solution at least in the near term, just more & more bloodshed & loss of life. :(

No, that just doesn't stand up. You really can't accuse me of being anything but very pro-Brexit, yet I agree that the ones he refers too truly are acting like c^nts, they conduct themselves in a quite revolting manner in re Ukraine and genuinely deserve to be insulted. :)

Leopard tanks are not tokens. Russia has lost almost all its infantry. It's stock of long range weapons is running out. It's air force can't enter Ukrainian airspace. It's flagship is sunk. It's leadership is issuing ever more ludicrous threats. It's genocide is the only thing still working. Shameful that you condone it in every post you make.
Nobodies condoning anything but living in your make believe world solves nothing!

Who will be the first to limit the rules of defending your country? At what point should the country surrender? I would think most people would not want the rule for their country.

Endless whining about Ukrainian resistance and condemning help from democratic governments is definitely condoning genocide.

In other news Putin threatening Ukraine if they get longer range weapons is good. It's a sign of extreme weakness.
Or a warning of a possible escalation of the conflict, if Ukraine fires missiles into Russia then no city or city centre in Ukraine is safe from retaliation & bombing, is that what you really want?

Well Brian I have just been looking at pictures of the grain terminal in Mykolaiv burning furiously following strike with Russian missiles. Looks quite surreal with plumes of foul black smoke against a beautiful clear blue sky. Only a few days ago Mr Putin met with representatives of the African Nations who asked him for support with grain exports to their countries. The secretary general of the UN visited Mr Putin and asked same, on behalf of the poorer nations in the world. The Russian response is to destroy a port grain terminal. Not sure what to think as a European or an African. Other than this war is going to last some considerable time yet. And cause much grief everywhere.

Nice to see the tankies hurting when they were convinced a day or two ago they had the war won

I told ye so..

Here's the full quote for a little more spice

“Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”

You are absolutely right & Putin will do anything to get concessions from the West, if it means a few more poor souls starving then in his bigger picture that matters not, he will let grain flow again when the West give something in return. As always desperate men do desperate things!

If thats the case and I am not agreeing that it is then so does he.
Putin would be proud of him
