I currently run an old trailed kv straw bedder its never been the best of machines and straw often builds up and gets caught in the spout which i have to stop and pull out every so often, ive had it 8yrs now and looking to buy a new bedder what should i go for? Any suggestions?

Some situations only allow a mounted though.
Yes very true.

Only reasons i said get a trailed one is because 1 its much easier/ quicker to hitch up/ unhitch if you need the tractor for other jobs on a daily/weekly basis and 2 if you have steep areas in your yard the trailed one will be a lot more stable, esp if you are buying in square bale straw which are getting heavier and heavier as time goes one.

Lucas. Have a single rotor artic model here. Very rarely blocks the spout and feeds blocks of pit silo well. I should think the newer twin rotor models are unstoppable.
