Oh hell!

I've got a topper that I've just put to the lim bull with the intention of selling it with calf at foot next year.
I probably wouldn’t afford yours but thanks just the same
There’s a few herd dispersals coming up might try and buy a few cows from them hopefully
We’ve bought a lot of heifers and calves and bulling heifers the last two years and it’s got me thinking there will be a lot to go out all at once when the time comes so a few cows added now would do no harm. Save the matter of replacing loads at once. Cattle values are creeping up quietly they are slowly getting there

Takes me back to yrs ago.
...in those days dad would buy barren or cull ewes in Hfd on a Wed ,brother and me would have to shear them and they would go off the Ross Market ( which back then was on a Fri ) .
He would make a bit on the wool and a bit on the ewes! ....
Used to dread Wed eves !

Hard to believe it now .....buying ewes just for the wool !!

All those jobs have gone now you need probably £7 just to turn them around
