Shifted about a few sheep and cattle. Dosed bullocks, sheared rams (no photos)

Contractor has knocked down a few acres for the clamp and a few for bales. There’s a fair bit of pig sh!t residue where the dribble bar was. Should I be worried?

and during my evening rounds I discover that one batch has shifted itself. thankfully onto grazing paddocks that they were getting to eventually anyway. I’ll never understand why they are never content when they break into a field and still think they deserve something from me when I come to check them

ring fence farm, no roads, no number plate, and can’t remember the last time I unrolled the sheet

Couple of days on corn trailers.

Wind picked up a bit and was blowing the straw around as it dropped from the combine. Some places looked like a Tedder had been through, so today ran round and tidied up before a baler appears.

And left early this afternoon to watch the big man play his first school football match.
