Theres a fella just below malton a good age still comes to kirkby to buy cattle, cant remind his name now, grand fella.
Think us farmers struggle to stop when weve known nothing else all our lives!
There is a worrying trend in farmers when they decide to pack up. They die very soon after! It’s almost as if they’ve gone hard at it all their lives and when they stop, body stops.

Don’t leave it too late, make sure there is a bit of time to enjoy it. I intend on being cashed up and done by sixty. No living children and on the edge of a village, I’m not chewing on until I drop for the government to have it for free

stores seem to fluctuate a fair bit,

i took some stores last week and got 84, i had weighed them and to be fair the ppkg was same as fats, but they were much lighter, hence price

taking them as they are for fat i know what im gonna get stores, is more of a gamble, but i know what you mean,

ive got some booked in for next store sale i should take some 40kg and see what they make!
At the ua they weigh all the stores aswell, but l take mine to the other market and if lv really nice ones l get them to weigh them and just say the weight they are before they sell them, always more deductions with the fat aswell. It's a gamble either way, probably want 40/44kg in a couple of months time when everyone kept them to 50kgs.
