I've been following the UK gas price for a few weeks and it certainly is not giving any indication of the market softening. It's not even cold in Europe yet!

It really is a bugger, you just can't gauge how things will pan out in the next 12 months but at the end of the day a bird in the hand is....well....a bird in he hand.

I've got ground ready for 1st wheats, think it would be mad to not plant it.
Just ordered barest minimum to put 2.5 bags/ac urea on.

Based on urea at £750 per tonne I project my N to cost £34 per tonne of wheat.
That’s based on using 170 kg/ha N and achieving 8t/ha wheat.
