try it ÂŁ800 insteadAnyone done the sums on the wheat price to make money out of 750 urea ?
Fairly simple, your N cost goes up by 6.6% or on my calculations a couple of quid per tonne of wheat.try it ÂŁ800 instead
But what will the wheat price be ? ÂŁ60 ? or ÂŁ360 ?

Sell some forward, then you’ll know. But what will the wheat price be ? £60 ? or £360 ?
That's pretty fundamental to it!Has anything fundamental happened to push up urea, other than being dragged up by AN price?
YesJust out of interest. Has anyone had a conversation with a Fert supplier. And they have said. There’s none left we are sold out and I can’t supply anymore.
Anyone any experience of using Yara amidas on wheat. does it spread 24 m ok
Plastered in muck, ÂŁ100 of urea, 4 to 4.5t. Still works for me. The only money the beasts will generate lies steaming behind them.Anyone done the sums on the wheat price to make money out of 750 urea ?
Thanks. is there any reason u switch to AN for N3Used it for about the last 4 years on all arable crops. Fantastic quality product, spreads like a dream. Will be absolutely no issue at 24m.
Spread at 24m her with a KRM M2W
Should add I use Amidas for N1 and N2 and then switch to AN for N3 on wheat.
For OSR I just use Amidas split at N1 and N2.
Yara AMidas has 14%sDo we need a n3 if we are putting on reduced n? Going all urea here next year... winter cropping 2 passes. Spring one pass.... just need to sort the sulphur
Yes, later season application so use AN to reduce possible Urea losses.Thanks. is there any reason u switch to AN for N3
Fair enough. Good too know.
