Only problem was it was minus 4 overnight and water troughs frozen for cattle and no water running in top yard.
Yep -4 here too. Then the snow.
-6.5 the other night, and daughter's sow decided to farrow outside under the hedge instead of in a farrowing hutch🙄.
They were OK though - to think some people think they need to be indoors under heat🤔

Calf born Tuesday about 5pm, was skipping around field next morning at minus 4.

Mind you it’s a hairy Devon and not a nearly hairless piglet!

Wife’s patterdale disappeared as it was going dark , found her in a nest amongst small hay bales … with 8 pups!
Probably warmer there than in our big shed where she normally sleeps

All the 4wd owners are out testing out the vehicles forward gripping capabilities.

Seen one already who's stopping capabilities were less "capable "
Clearing snow one year, stopped to salt the farm road end, met a chap out testing his rav4, he lost control on the slight downhill, where I was. He had his hands over his face and could hear his girly screams over the engine as he slid past into the ditch at about 2mph.

just looked on in amazement. 🫣
