Cockermouth stores were a good trade yesterday, A very good show of cattle which most of the catalogue managed to get to the mart despite some pretty dodgy road conditions yesterday morning, plenty of very good big 550+kg £1800+ a lot of yearling cattle £1100-£1400.
Would 1100 buy a beast that would be fat for Christmas

Last ones av £85. Drawing them down to 34kg mostly 36-38 tho. A lot of twin lambs out of shearlings last year so they weren’t very big and don’t think they would have made much over £25 in the store in October. So yes they’ve definitely paid to feed.
That’s all that matters. Pretty much the same position here sold anything half decent up to November then kept the rest which weren’t very good.
