Claas Arion 660 cmatic price

I specced one on their configurator recently and got it to £197k without any guidance or maintenance packages. Obviously retail price and not what you'd actually pay nut even so its a lot for any tractor that size.
We've got one no they are not strong enough/ big enough for a sumo trio but they are short wheel base so the same size as a 6155r or t7.210 etc. So not really for a sumo. We tried an axion 800 which is the next model up and I was quite disappointed in it. It was surprisingly maneuverable but a bit numb on the road and not much better on our plough than the 660. I don't know how much more expensive an 800 is than a 660 though.

Fecking ell im sounding like an old man (not 40 yet) but where on gods earth do these prices stop. I remember a mate buying a new specced up jd 7720 for 58k and thinking that was a fortune....christ

I believe a top spec 660 ,steering front linkage etc is 124k ish, cheap when u compare to others now

Exactly same spec or near as? Sure 10k is easy to make up ticking the options

Trouble is our incomes arent keeping pace
I wonder if this moves keeping these tractors for longer. 100k plus tractors can surely be kept going with repair bills and the odd hire tractor for higher hours…….or not?

I believe there's a demo 660 floating about here, not Cmatic, not 100% sure on spec but so said it was insured for something like £144k.
As near as same spec but Claas was on Michelin tyres.

How much a year would comprehensive insurance for a £150k tractor cost a year? My guess if it's on value pro rata that it could be £4k that's £80 a week!

What I meant was that the cost of insuring my £30 k value tractor with well over 20 years of no claims, multiplied by x5 for a £150k value tractor could well be £4000 a year if it's calculated by a %of the value...
