Yeah by Ā£20.Are they discounted in market scanned in lamb with 3
021% is a bit rough mind!I think the only way not to have a sh!t lambing is probably just to not have sheep Our lambing percentage has the numbers 2 1 and 0 but sadly not in that order

Thanks what's the symptoms of it. How do they get itToxoplasmosis
Vet persuaded us to do some ewes with Imcolibov this time, so we did the treble bearing ones, on the basis that they are the most likely to be a bit short of colostrum.Whatās the consensus on watery mouth treatment, tried a few things with limited success, also what about mastitis do any get over it if caught early enough.

Thanks bobajob. Are sheep are mainly grazing at the other farm we rent and only come home for lambing we've never had a problem in our ewes but this year its a nightmare only thing that different is that a there a new family moved into the farm house and they walk there dogs in our fields and don't pick the sh!t upIt causes abortion in sheep. Cats can spread it if they soil on the sheeps feed. But it can be spread from one sheep to another if they are mixed at lambing time/ while they are aborting (i think). Its a while since i have read up on it. Lots if info on it if you google it.
We vaccinate all new breeding sheep coming into the flock for it.
They only need 1 vaccine in their lifetime , but it's not cheap at approx Ā£6 a sheep.
Thereās your problem right thereThanks bobajob. Next one that aborts get foetus and as much placenta as you can sent off for testing. Only way to know if you have a problem. Can only be done through a vet. Isolate anything that aborts immediately. Hygiene v important. Sorry if this stuff you already knowWe've had about 5 abort
