Aren't good ones around 3£ , lean ones less. Average abit back. What are hoggs like this week?
Is there more poor ones about at the moment, I see some reasonable drop on some averagesAren't good ones around 3£ , lean ones less. Average abit back.

YesHas anyone sold any heavy young bulls recently?! £3 still likely even 750kg+?
Lambs look good. Some trade for ewes and lambs at longtown. £91 a life for 5 crop mules with twins. Lambs were strong but still £10 above what i would have been highly delighted with. View attachment 1110811
Good for you.but don't see much in them for the buyersSome trade for ewes and lambs at longtown. £91 a life for 5 crop mules with twins. Lambs were strong but still £10 above what i would have been highly delighted with. View attachment 1110811
Exactly my thought, (felt i should have been wearing a mask) apparently there was some that price yesterday at carlisle as well. Old ewes to split are making more than younger ones. No one wants the work.Good for you.but don't see much in them for the buyers
I be pleased with thatTrade at Kirkby back a touch from last week according to some I spoke to. From what I saw the Cheviot and Blackies looked best, if meaty they’re around £3 per kg.
Ours were OK, probably not quite as well finished as I usually have them but they’re straight off grass, no hard feed so OK

Wish I could get my dross to weigh 51kgs!View attachment 1110808
Last load of clear ups in Melton today. The good the bad and the lean and as per usual the dross at the end make way more than the best. More than happy with that.
I still can’t judge sheep properly. They ranged from £137 to £168 and I couldn’t see £30 difference between them. We were first in so maybe they hadn’t got going properlyNever had any that price in my life
