What’s the feedback so far ??

Forum is quiet, maybe you are still stuck in traffic ??

Or maybe no one has gone now everyone in forumland is a Groundswell type ??

How many NROSO point available the Cereals website suggest there are 21 exhibitors on the knowledge trail, 1 point each, plus two points for attending?

Edit: Too good to be true, 8 points on knowledge trail, 2 for attending

A knowledge gap here, seems its a funny old world earning points for a 'satisfactory exhibitor visit' is it not?
Looks like data harvesting at work to me...
I find the whole Basis points thing fustrating to say the least. Whilst I agree that its important to have continued professional development I really don't agree with a lot of the 'professional' advice that we have to absorb/listen to from manufacturers and who are trying to sell a product/their services. IMO a lot of it is actually bad advice and goes against what I want to do within my business. So much of it is bullocks.

Went early this morning for gates opening, had a fantastic run across with zero traffic except probably a couple of minutes cue to get in the car park.
Plenty of free food and drinks on offer at various stands for breakfast and dinner so only expense was my fuel.
Was nice to catch up with a few suppliers I’ve only ever spoken too on the phone and put a face to the name/voice. Also met some potential new suppliers and got some quotes so all good there.
Seemed to be pretty well attended by the trade probably more than the last time I went (pre Covid) and everyone was pleasant and had time just too chat.
We had some queries/issues about machine we bought a couple of years back and got chance to speak to the manufacture directly on a stand and they’re getting it sorted it for us so that was productive.
Crop plots looked as expected with the dry weather! I always look at local trials anyway when choosing varieties so wasn’t to bothered about looking closely at them.

Back home now, managed to get round every by 1 ish (was getting hot by then as well 😅) so missed the rush hour traffic coming home. 2 hours It’s just far enough I probably wouldn’t want to travel much further for it but a pretty enjoyable day out all in all.

Shiny paint- not interested.

variety's- big frontier trials site on the doorstep at home so again pointless.

listen to NFU/Deaf Ear/red tractor spout about how marvellous they are, what’s the point.

fuel savings - significant👍

over priced burger saving- also significant😂
Did you have a nice day though?

The route off the a1 614 from the north was a mess, and then to cap it off they closed the car park as it was full and we ended up back on the 614. Which was mildly irritating having queued for an hour and a half to get off it, bein directed to the south car park. Just head straight to the south one would be my recommendation. This was about half 10

overall enjoyed the day plots and stuff were a bit of a mess as it’s very sandy

Sign posting was bl&@£y awful coming from the South (Mansfield) . One small sign saying left turn placed about twenty yards before the actual hidden turn. I like many others drove past and had to perform a u-turn when arriving early. I guess the later arrivals could just follow the lengthy queue.
It's definitely smaller than the last time I visited, and a few people I hoped to see did not attend.

Haven’t been for a while
Forgot how crap cereals traffic management can be
Over 2 hrs in a queue in. No real thought gone into getting cars off the busy 614 as quickly as possible
Good day once we were in though and straight out after
