After a lot of delays beyond our control we finally opened our new venture yesterday, aiming to increase direct sales of our own produce as well as other locally sourced items. The picture doesn’t do justice to the amount of stock my wife has put in there (fridge and freezers are out of view) which will only increase as our veg comes into season and customer numbers hopefully increase.

We’re based in a café belonging to a historic property so it’s a bit unusual in terms of its setup.

We’re particularly grateful for helpful advice from @BrianV and @Pan mixer and pleased to be stocking meat from @Poorbuthappy

Brilliant news!!!! Well done to both of you!

One small step for Devon,…but a giant leap for Martinsfield Farm!

Wishing you the best of luck with the new venture…..look forward to seeing more updates!

Thank you. We’re thinking of having an official opening in a few weeks once everything is up and running properly.

I understand why some people say that farms shouldn’t need to diversify to survive but the harsh reality is that some do.
