Ua had just 6500 stores yesterday. That's not a big sale for them . You wonder were they are, normally over 10 000 at this time peak season.
Going to be very intresting over the next 2 months to see if the usual number of store lambs/ cattle come to market like previous years.

General feeling is the numbers are not out there like previous years!

Never going to happen its bull poop. They know everything numbers the whole lot , bmcs scott eid sensorship forms farm assurance the farmers have told them everything they ever need to know , whats not their is imported its as simple as that ! Covid and inflation has made sure we have pulled ahead of poor countrys and can afford imports no bother … uk livestock farMer will be poor £ for ever . Farming has no hope of catching up with the real world now ..

Surely a lot of store lambs are still at home as there is so much grass around….. numbers may well be a bit lower but I bet it won’t be far out.
If those pesky Aus/NZ get some headed our way UK lamb numbers won’t matter 😩
Seems they already have 🤬

Our numbers Won’t matter a jot. Same with beef it can be imported from anywhere cheaper than we can produce it. I think we are daft if we think some miracle will happen and the government will look after us. Cheap food at all costs.
Yes until something goes wrong, then it will be a case of throw money at it to fix it. Suez Canal is on a go slow that’ll hold the boats up for a week or two .

Being told this morning that lambs are coming down and will continue to because the first boat load is here, dunbia are cutting it up now.
Remember last winter? They had us down to £5 a kilo in no time. In my opinion this will continue all winter 👍
Sounds about right, was no need for them to be crashing like this, looked as though they were going to hold up about £5.60 or 70 this time

I did predict 220p /240p live by October that was before any early imports I wasn’t expecting much lamb before January to be imported from those who know everything

I've been glass half empty for a while but the ok trade lasted a month or two longer than i thought.
Posted about buying well bred store lambs in the 60s August time and got laughed at we will see come end of September.
To show how supply/demand can wreck trade you only have to look at the wheat price which has halved in 15months.
