Ye I remember there being a few 50-100 runs of cattle off farms there. Not there now. Most have gone into stewardship and the cows have long gone.
Got the catalogue and shocked me how much less the numbers are now.
Those bigger herds have had problems surviving some may be in stewardship but it hasn’t been appearing to give economies of scale regardless of the stewardship aspect. The few big herds that I knew of that had a few hundred cows mostly have 100/150 or none now
