They said that about turkeys last year and were near giving them away by Christmas.

Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips, Sprouts will all be 10 - 50 pence per pack and cheap combination deals in the major Supermarkets from 15 December to New Year as usual loss leaders. There will be no shortage. There will be photos and outrage on TFF about undervaluing food. Its a Xmas tradition. Mince Pie anyone.

Yep, seems to be a Christmas tradition.

As a supplier to small scale retailers, I used to stress, Christmas is not what it was but supermarkets locally struggle to keep the shelves stacked with decent veg so I still do ok.

We are supplying Morrisons with a few at the moment on contract and they have been very picky on the QC. Those have been left in the light for a fortnight I really hope they are not ours .Also got stuff going into Aldi at the moment and getting on well, but things can change in a heartbeat where supermarkets are concerned.
