You are right, need to take a few photos to get one good one.
That said its a good advert if cattle that look un finished are making good money
Is it? The sellers won’t be happy everybody thinking their cattle are so poorly finished and potential new buyers will be put off because the top price cattle look awful
 
If anyone appears in the northern marts with stores that are only frame with no condition on them they are always discounted. They are in the minority as well so stand out as worse cattle. If anyone has put some thought into the shape and grade of cattle they will need to feed them to some degree to show their potential. As you rightly say the feeders might well like rough cattle with frame that is because they can get them cheaper

The trouble is that’s why there’s a shortage of proper grazing cattle to buy. Either yearlings or too fit, not enough with the age frame and hard enough.
