The main goal of Net Zero is to reduce the food supply which is part of the Depopulation Agenda.

It's all part of Agenda 2030 etc etc
From the UN WHO & WEF.
So they doing very well with this depop thing, population keeps rising, food prices falling.
Why would they want depop anyway, humans in the "elites" do very well out of ever increasing numbers of humans.... They are became part of the elite afterall!

You do have a fair point there I wouldn't disagree on some if not all of it. But we have a lot more to complain about in Wales and its different to the no farmers no food thing this is all because of devolved government and their rules. I don't know about England but they seem to have it easier if what is planned here is going to come to fruition.
We are trying very hard not to let this get hijacked by extremist but it's bloody difficult to keep them out especially the social media groups. We just have to try and distance ourselves from them but a lot of farmers can't tell the difference between extremists and supportive members of the public. They need better bulls**t filters.

Agreed. We seem to have gained a few new ‘agitating’ members on here in the last week or two too.😡

Sadly, GWJ has not only bought the t-shirt metaphorically, he's promoting actual merchandise with no indication of where the money will go. He is very likely an unsuspecting accessory to the grift. If anyone is in contact with him, please ask him to explain why there's so little transparency in the set up.

I was going to suggest that we should at least get some tractor / farm truck sun screen type stickers made up with slogans like ‘Honk to support British farmers’, and ‘No Farmers, No Food’, or ‘The WEF want your children to eat locust meat’, because no-one can be bothered to actually protest outside of Wales and Kent.
Not sure I’m going to bother now before I get accused of being a griffer, nut job, rabble rouser, undercover far right skinhead (I’m just going bald).
Well it seems lovely Rishi‘s ‘new’ money (crumbs swept our way) has easily bought off the great and good.
Best I go and be quiet, and tug my forelock like those angry peasants should be doing in Wales / Kent / Jonny foreigner.

Exactly the same tactic as Minette when I politely asked a question she didn’t want to answer regarding GFC.

It has been many years since I posted regularly on here, but still names I recognise!

I am dead set against the NFNF campaign. It is set up by a known spreader of misinformation using a strategy seen before in Europe. It starts off with "Save Farming", moves on to "Ban Net Zero" and "open more oil wells" and ends up with "Ban all immigrants" and"The WEF want to control us all"

It will do a lot of harm in the long run. The optics of this are terrible!
I don’t think the WEF wants to control us as such. I do think that WEF members wish to manipulate the levers of power in order to gain more market share and more of our money. There is much more potential profit to be had from processed food than from unprocessed foods such as raw meat. It’s much more palatable to come at this from a ‘Let’s all save the world’ angle than from a ‘Let’s get rid of livestock’ angle so that’s the angle they take. No doubt WEF members will be poised to take full advantage when their manipulations of the food systems bear fruit.

I am a research immunologist in my main job, and have spent some years opposing anti-vax and other conspiracy theories.

And on twitter, the vast majority of people attacking me for opposing NFNF are exactly the same anti-vax, climate scam demographic.
Were it not for an antipodean scientist who debunks pseudoscience (I cannot bear to think of the damage done by the anti-vaccine movement that she pushes back with scientific facts), I would not know anything about how these scam networks operate. They're warped, and warping!

With something like NFNF, I think there’s a lot of ‘My enemy’s enemy…’
Undoubtedly we have to be cautious about who we want to get into bed with.

No. I was a member here back around 2005 or so, but have no idea what email I used so cannot recover my account.
I have been farming 20 years, am heavily involved in the promotion of farming (especially in Yorkshire) and am a research scientist who debunks misinformation.

(Also, TFF came up at the Yorkshire Food, Farming and Rural Network meeting on tuesday, and I heartily supported it!)

Campaigns like NFNF really worry me. Once the associations become widely known, it will attract the support of a certain subset, but also put off the big majority.

Tff didn't exist in 2005 . Started up in 2013.

As a"research scientist " I would have thought you would be 100 % factual .

There are a LOT of non farming people on the Facebook protest groups that have changed their profile pictures to the no farming no food logo. They are the same types saying about the WEF and end of cash payments, antivax whatever.
I don't want anything to do with them bit it's hard to get away from it because there is so many of them.
It doesn't take away from us having real issues here in Wales with our labour government giving us a shitty stick and making our life much more difficult than it needs to be with nvz and tb. We need to do something about that.
