Thank you very much,they are two years old heifers home breed Simmentals Natural poll. As for the weather ,today was sunny one moment and heavy showers the next got soaking when I was wandering around trying to find one of their calves hiding in the hedge!Some cattle are "meh" but if I saw these each day they would lift my heart. They are better than easy on the eye, an instant smile.
Probably just an optical illusion due to no rain in the picture.
Cows and calves looking well!Getting thoroughly fed up of the winter routine now. Usually by now the bedding starts to last a bit longer as the the days stretch & the air dries out but still as damp & mucky as mid winter at the moment despite daily bale rolling out through the sh!t€
At least the October born calves seem to be growing despite everything.
