I must have bad weather every year. Some ewes won't have it!Sometimes they can be like that when they are sick of the weather
I think it's important to call it early, if you think your beaten then the sooner the vets operating the more chance of success. That’s the way I see it. It a risk, but the odds are in your favour
Thats what we've found too.I think it's important to call it early, if you think your beaten then the sooner the vets operating the more chance of success.

Last time I had a bunch starting with it, first 7 all had lambs that were fully formed but born dead. Alamycin LA stopped it more or less overnight.Jabbed them all on Sunday but probably wont see the benefit for a few days.
Yes anytime Ive had a problem before the allamycin worked a treat but this is the first I've had in a long time apart from the odd one with knocks but it seems pretty potent.Last time I had a bunch starting with it, first 7 all had lambs that were fully formed but born dead. Had it five years ago too, bad silage was to blame. All had been vaccinated for enzo and toxo the previous autumn but the vet said sometimes it takes a year to work properly and to be fair I haven’t had any bother sinceI've four lambs away to the lab today, have had a real abortion storm, 36 so far out of a batch of 100, worst I've ever had.
