I think the seed is happy enough in the coldstore, have seen them in other years being planted and through the ground in less than 3 weeks if conditions right

yep better instore and planted into warm soil
few years ago was in a field planted early nothing was growing they where rotting in the drill

You either win or lose not much inbetween, few bad years and people get fed up working for nothinggoing mad around here planting...guess they're all here cos everywhere else so wet
odd driving about seeing spuds being planted then bit further on heaps of beet waiting on collection
what's the truth about spuds?....I heard a very large arable outfit quitting spuds last week...10 staff in Yorkshire.. 6 in Norfolk gone

As im growing seed its not so bad lif late planted as size and dry matter arnt as important as tuber numbers

Seed been good price wise this year other than the weather couding problems trying to dig and having PB 2 KingEdward downgraded with virus

and normally in his coldstore by the end of October other than the past season when I was still diging in January
