If you can find something sensibly priced to feed them on they will be a good goThey look well
out of interest how much would 12 month old limo suckler bulls eat to finish? Have had some offered but not done bull beef before. They are nice things just need putting onto ad lib. I’m thinking they will need 10-12 weeks. What protein would work best? I could give them straw to eat or haylage or both. Just got an empty shed and thought I would try something different.
I always thought they were lovely little cars...I see delilah has a thread going about the abuse of LGBTQ folk on here.do you think it's aimed at this thread by any chance
Barley blend is as cheap as a bull diet needs to be at the moment. If you can find something sensibly priced to feed them on they will be a good go
Think I’m too young to understand this jokeI always thought they were lovely little cars...

What sort of money is it?Barley blend is as cheap as a bull diet needs to be at the moment.
£260 for a 16% blend at the moment. Could drop the CP a bit but I’m feeding it to the younger growers too and haven’t got space for another blend in the bin while we’ve got 2 sorts of sheep corn on the goWhat sort of money is it?
Yes… that’s what worry’s me at times

Look good. Will they be safely into 3s? The blues can be tricky to get covered and bulls don't make the task any easier.View attachment 1177577

Yes, I’m on TB shutdown so taking them live round here is a good way to be shafted without Vaseline . Normally they’d all be going through Drayton. But give Nield’s their due, I’m getting a fair price that’s very comparable to what I’d have been on in the ring.Using my own barley and beans in to a mill and mix ration it’s around £280 this time
@Anymulewilldo where do you send non assured cattle dead weight? Any reason to send them dead rather than through the ring?
This is my specific blend. Barley, Rape meal, Wheatfeed, Mollasses & Minerals. I think it’s £261 bulk blown for 15t dropI haven’t managed to get any blend for £260 up this end, early £280’s picked up of some other stuff not quite as good £290 blown that’s decent sized lots
