Night shift for me tonight we have a system of one night on one night off hitting around the 3 week mark feels like being separated or divorced or something
Being a one man band means I'm day shift and night shift

Mrs YB is a terribly light sleeper (if I wake her up, she'll not be able to go back to sleep for the rest of the night, and will have the light on and be reading and doing stuff on her phone )

So, in lambing time, I bunk down in the spare room so I can come and go as I please, without any associated earache - it's just easier all round 😉

It’s a bit like that here but we are swapping over. One does a day a night then the next day but goes to bed that night if you follow then vice versa
Get her to spell you she will sleep ok then most folks do after being on the go 36/38 hours

She used to do her fair share but had a couple of mini strokes a couple of years ago.
That's why we cut down on numbers, so she didn't have to do so much.
I couldn't risk her having a 'big' one - FFS, I haven't a clue what any of the machinery in the kitchen is for, let alone how any of it works 🤣

I wonder if this is what’s upset the LGBTQ lot? In which case it’s the wrong farming forum!
That LGBTQ thread was confusing me - the only Sam Smith I'd ever heard of was a brewery in Tadcaster.

I've just Googled Sam Smith - turns out he's not a he but a 'they'....

.....FFS, what have we let the world come to?
I'm off back to the sheep and the simple life.

I haven’t looked, that sort of thing just sends my blood pressure up at the stupidity of it all. 🤦🏻‍♂️
