Night shift for me tonight we have a system of one night on one night off hitting around the 3 week mark feels like being separated or divorced or something
Being a one man band means I'm day shift and night shiftNight shift for me tonight we have a system of one night on one night off hitting around the 3 week mark feels like being separated or divorced or something
It’s a bit like that here but we are swapping over. One does a day a night then the next day but goes to bed that night if you follow then vice versaBeing a one man band means I'm day shift and night shift
Mrs YB is a terribly light sleeper (if I wake her up, she'll not be able to go back to sleep for the rest of the night, and will have the light on and be reading and doing stuff on her phone )
So, in lambing time, I bunk down in the spare room so I can come and go as I please, without any associated earache - it's just easier all round
@Bossfarmer you part timerIt’s a bit like that here but we are swapping over. One does a day a night then the next day but goes to bed that night if you follow then vice versa
Get her to spell you she will sleep ok then most folks do after being on the go 36/38 hours
Just having a cup of tea he’s maybe too busy to stop for that bit.@Bossfarmer you part timer
He works a solid 18hrs a day 6 am till 8pm but has a hour off for lunch and spends ten minutes on here here and there throughout the dayJust having a cup of tea he’s maybe too busy to stop for that bit.
Or is he snoozing again
Looks like a bit of 'expert finishing' to meView attachment 1177621View attachment 1177622
second bunch, forgot completely to get a snap of the 2 suckler bred bulls.
Hardly. I’ve got an auger bucket, a bin full of blend and some big troughs. That’s it hence why I like bull beef fill the troughs up once every 2 days and just throw straw in daily as we check themLooks like a bit of 'expert finishing' to me
Is that the stuff advertised in FG ?Midlands feeds? Do you feed hoggs on it as well ?£260 for a 16% blend at the moment. Could drop the CP a bit but I’m feeding it to the younger growers too and haven’t got space for another blend in the bin while we’ve got 2 sorts of sheep corn on the go
No, Carrs. I have tried midland feeds, but didn’t like that it’s mostly dust and filler. Be alright for Youngstock if feeding a bit of nice silage with it I thought. Is that the stuff advertised in FG ?Midlands feeds? Do you feed hoggs on it as well ?
She used to do her fair share but had a couple of mini strokes a couple of years ago.Get her to spell you she will sleep ok then most folks do after being on the go 36/38 hours
Sounds fairly competitive that price from Carrs if good stuff. No, Carrs. I have tried midland feeds, but didn’t like that it’s mostly dust and filler. Be alright for Youngstock if feeding a bit of nice silage with it I thought.
Yep, just 4 ingredients. Don’t want any of those blends with 10 different ingredients. More than half will be shiteSounds fairly competitive that price from Carrs if good stuff.
That LGBTQ thread was confusing me - the only Sam Smith I'd ever heard of was a brewery in Tadcaster.I wonder if this is what’s upset the LGBTQ lot? In which case it’s the wrong farming forum!
"John Smith"That LGBTQ thread was confusing me - the only Sam Smith I'd ever heard of was a brewery in Tadcaster.
I've just Googled Sam Smith - turns out he's not a he but a 'they'....
.....FFS, what have we let the world come to?
I'm off back to the sheep and the simple life.
That's another one."John Smith"
