Confessions of the Sheep/Beef Cattle/Pig Addicts

I was once told it was a sign of potash deficiency, caused by poor take up when it's cold for too long. Desperately needing sun/warmth to get going.

I've a 6 AC field on a bit of a bank. The top half lies drier and catches the sun (or what there is of it), the bottom part has lied wet all winter and is shaded by a wood.
Currently, the bottom of the field is purple while the top part has been grazed tight and coming back again.
It is on wetter bits of the field right enough, sticks out as they haven’t grazed it as hard as other bits .
Thought I should maybe start a golf course with my Kentucky Blue grass !

I’m thinking of getting rid of mules and getting shedders, at least then I won’t have the biggest best sheep looking sheep in the flesh house. 😜. Why do everyone else’s sheep look like you would be glad to see them dead but mine look nice fit sheep. 🙄
I’ve just put a U plus store beast out for collection managed to get stuck in a feed barrier I thought the same it looked probably the best thing on the wagon
