Aye. A person can have lofty notions of their own importance, but the problem really comes when people around them accommodate and worse, platform that ego. There certainly appears to be an increasing idolising of Trump, with quite Jewish messianic/Jesusy metaphors being placed on him, like the bearing of abuse for the sake of his people, despised and rejected, facing unfair trial and so on. If he was a younger man, he'd be a very scary prospect to have around. As it is, I think democracy will be able to outlast him in a way it couldn't in post WW1 Germany. Nonetheless, the division he causes every time he comes around will take years to unpick and heal.

Trump is sounding more like Hitler everyday with his 'Imperial Presidency' proposal. Monitoring women to check if they get abortions, Using the Army to round up 15 to 20 million migrants and putting them in camps and removing them from the country and potentially using marshal powers. Removing civil servants and replacing them with MAGA loyalists. Ten percent tariffs on all imports and 60% on Chinese imports. :banghead: :eek:

Maybe Trump doesn’t know that women have a vote yet🤷‍♂️
