There's a budget make, "Castle", I picked up from the local agri store a few years ago, zip front, hard wearing and quite a bit cooler than the Dickies ones I normally wear. I didn't like them in the beginning because they weren't as thick a material, but soon learnt they are a great summer overall.

Farming connect is very good if you want funded (was 80%) skills training/certificates, such as sprayer use, chainsaws, telehandlers etc.

I would just do a regular overseed, but it has some bad thistle areas. I'll probably bite the bullet and get the contractor to plough it up.

Ideally I would like to Glyphos/Roundup a field and then overseed it. Is it possible, and if so what process/timing (spraying) is best to use. I have a Browns comb harrow with small spinner seeder on it. An agronomist told me not to glyphos before a comb harrow overseed because it would not...

Stores must vary so much area to area. Here in S.E.Wales, British and assured produce is readily available. Some lamb is NZ, but there is also UK and Welsh lamb.

Since 1st January 2011 the Defender 110 Station Wagon is classed as commercial, regarding VAT and road tax. From what I understand it is that LR increased the payload on it to qualify.

As far as I'm aware you need it for contractors working on farm as well.
