Light weight/cool overalls

They really need to be overalls as a dairy farmer milking, I get covered in sh!t.
I've some bib and brace overalls. They don't seem as restrictive when you're twisting, turning and reaching to put cows on. Loads cooler too, but you do get splodges on your T-shirt/vest occasionally (well, every milking :banghead:) but at the moment it's so hot, the flies are bothering the cows something chronic and there's shite flying everywhere, I'm beyond caring. I'd rather stay as cool as possible :)

If you really must wear overalls why not just wear boxers and nowt else under them?

TSS
I do that now and again, the problem I find is I don't know I'm going to get hot until it's too late usually after the first of 15 rows has just left the parlour, once we start we can't stop till the end 2.5 hrs and 350 cows later.

There's a budget make, "Castle", I picked up from the local agri store a few years ago, zip front, hard wearing and quite a bit cooler than the Dickies ones I normally wear. I didn't like them in the beginning because they weren't as thick a material, but soon learnt they are a great summer overall.

I believe Dickies still do a economy overall, which is lightweight and cool.I prefer them to the standard ones, even during wintertime, as they are far easier to work in.
