I’m converted to harness always used to stitch but harnesses are a lot easier for putting on and kinder to the ewes only had one determined ewe this year that kept pushing out past the harness to achieve her aim⚰️
Security guards in St Merryn have to wear hi vis but they have to take it off and put on brown jacket to go into lairage when I drop cattle off at night
Does anyone number their ewes prelambing
I lamb my ewes indoors don’t need to for myself but have got an apprentice this year and might make it a bit simpler
Thanks
I’m using mole valley high energy and protein this year rep rang last week to say offer is on until November £350 a ton.
Used to use rumevite cows only take it when they need it was feeding crap hay 35 cows were taking more than a block a day change onto good hay hardly 1 a week back to crap hay...
Thanks I think that if I’m going to get a new one I will spec it with a hydraulic latch because it will be around for a long time and will have a full cab as well to help protect the electrics as well as guaranteeing me a dry seat every day
