If u are using just a bucket and pallet tines maybe worth it but if u have a grab or other 3rd service attachment then can't see the point u have to get out to change the pipes

You'll never regret a hydraulic latch, my loadal came here second hand with a manual latch, bought a hydraulic latch off ebay for not much money, and haven't looked back since, now have 9 different attachments for the front and their on and off all day. The only people who says a hydraulic latch is pointless is people that don't have one. Life is too short !

I always thought they were just a novelty thing and wouldn't spec a loader with it. That was until we bought a loader which came with hydraulic locking pins, definitely worth having! Wouldn't buy a loader without them now.

Depends...

Got a Manitou now with hydraulic locking and it's brilliant though you still have to get off to connect the third service pipes if need be.

On our old claas loader though it was a pita because if you had third service pipes you had to disconnect the hydraulic locking pipes in order to connect the third service :banghead::banghead: OK for bucket or bale spike though...

Thanks I think that if I’m going to get a new one I will spec it with a hydraulic latch because it will be around for a long time and will have a full cab as well to help protect the electrics as well as guaranteeing me a dry seat every day

My cab isnt glazed so i got some perspex and made a simple covers for side window and door and always remember to park in close to pit wall to keep my seat dry !!!!! Once you have a robot you find it great for all kindsof things , eats tyres though as they all do !!!
