Hi Apologies I've only just picked this up. You can have it either way. You need to check what meter profile you have on the meter. Did you get this resolved?

I'd like to see if I can better what you've been offered. I've got 27 suppliers to go to so I should be able to compete

Prices for gas and power are as low as they have been in a long while. Securing longer term when the market is flat is always a smart play. It is more likely there will be an increase next year than further decreases when your 12 month term comes to an end. Forecasting is never an exact...

That's a decent rate on a 1 year term. I would always advise on a longer term than 12 months. You could get a very similar rate on a 24 or 36 month. You would see a lot more benefit on a 36.
