A trio wouldn't be any good. Mine blocks if there's grass that's crept in from a margin over the year. You might have more luck with a Quattro, but I doubt it. I'm doing the same with some of my own grass and I'll be ploughing with a disc on each furrow.
My old huntaway is great with cattle. She works at the head to turn them back, then gives them enough space to drive behind. Hopefully the new one will be as good.
Sent them away. I was p#ssed off and had already got the day planned. They'll be back on Monday. The transport manager said he'd tried to call but got no answer, which i find unlikely.
Has anyone used one of these? It would follow a trio/carrier so it wouldn't need to cultivate. Just looking for a cheap ish disc drill that is reliable and doesn't cost a fortune to run. Are they any good?
Thought we'd missed it until it started raining an hour ago. Nothing heavy, just a pain. Finished the milling wheat this evening so not too fussed for once!
