I'm not 'in' the with dale gossips I'm afraid. Unlike northeast farmer, who clearly is. Most people I know aren't either. I'm sure we will all find out what's happened, factually, in due course.
Because it is a fact he has no children. Therefore the people stating that he does have a daughter and she was threatened amongst other things clearly don't know the facts sadly.
I would like to point out that I've seen quite a few comments that state this man's 'daughter was threatened/verbally abused' and stated as being a fact. He does not have ANY children, nevermind a daughter. I would also question in that case if it was his walls that were damaged or fires started...
He's definitely a farmer and it definitely wasn't a set up. I don't know the story behind yet but I still don't think he's done himself or anyone any favours with how he's done it.
Sorry to revive such an old thread but I was wondering if you can just get longer paddles for bale handlers? I've now got a 120/90 baler and the paddles for the 80/90 aren't ideal for the bales (in my opinion) so I was wondering if it's possible to get 4ft paddles rather than the 3ft ones? Or...
There is/was a contractor round here who built lagoons for taking in waste and mixing to create fertilizer. I don't know the full details, just hearing things off farmers and in the local paper etc. But they were taking in literally anything and banging it in the lagoons, paint, paint thinner...
If they are filming you from a public place you just need to suck up being filmed as its completly legal. Don't need permission to film in a public place.
Never heard him say a bad word about JD but seemed to do a honest review of any cultivators/claas combine and challanger he had, also on demo. Bit strange don't you think?
The reason I say 'demo' is because it's not really a 'demo' if you have it for 4 months and aren't allowed to give an open and honest review. It's advertising.
1 man drilled his in August this year. Don't get me wrong I know it's each to their own really. Just everyone seems to be going earlier every year up here (OSR drilled 1st August). Pretty sure if some could somehow drill next year's before they combined this years they would.
So is it only round these parts (Co Durham) that people start drilling wheat last week or august/1st week September? And by drilling I mean 100s of acres. 1 lot seem to think it's too late and won't yield if it's not all in by 20th September
