Got a 6400 in with what would appear to be clutch slip in the higher gears, when this happens the engine remains under load. The transmission is all manual, no electronic powershifts. So that leaves the hytrol unit or the dry plate clutch. Tractor has only done 3100 hrs. I beleive the hytrol...
The accumulator moves the ram back down all the way to cut the plastic. Having had two wrappers side by side its clear it can only be the accumulators as there is next to nothing other than gravity pulling down the rams. Swapping the accumulators pulled them down hard and fast.
Back at this today and swapped accumulators from another wrapper and has cured the problem straight away. I hear people mentioning recharging them but surely if the gas has leaked out the bladder is split? 🤷🏽♂️
The cut and hold on the right hand side is not cutting. The ram wont go down the last two inches to get the wrap cutting on the knife just ends up braking when the bale goes off the back.
Have tried bleading air from the ram and made no difference. Would the accumulators be at fault but from...
Hi @milkloss did you get anywhere with this? Having similar problems with a 3185. Steering pressure checks out at 210bar. Have the tractor jacked up steering is only silightly better with the engine on than off. All 3 ujs are taking grease.
Jd 6150r autopower. wouldnt release the trailer brakes at all. Have replaced the park brake solenoid they now work but are slow to release. At a junction for example you come off the brakes and the trailer is holding back for a few seconds as the yellow line pressure is released. Anyone...
Im confident this is releasing as can turn the back wheels by hand with it jacked up and in neutral. Im just trying to ascertain how the dash gets the signal for the handbrake warning light to do some further fault finding.

Hi looking for some pointers as to where to start with this. The handbrake is releasing as normal but the light and the buzzer stay on. This is on a 2002 3185. Is the light activated by an air pressure switch or in the handbrake leaver itself.

Any pointers on getting rid of the flashing spanner. Havent had any joy in the manual, seem to remember it being a simple combination of buttons but its been about 5 years since i last worked on one!
Thanks in advance
Mark
Recently acquired a medium sized parts washer. Cant find any clear cut advice as to what fluid to put in it. Most degreasers seem to be water based and im not sure if thats the right thing for something thats reused.
Will be needing 30ish litres i rekon.
Lets see what we can come up with!
