I will try that, an old school driver like me can fix old school tractors with a box of spanners, no fancy diagnostic machines needed!!

Think I will leave 10th gear locked off on my 272 H for the time being?

Pity, didn't realise it was that much work, maybe one day with advice from people such as yourself. Mine has 30 inch wheels so perhaps it would not go too fast in 10th ??

Sounds like you have done a very professional job converting your 272 to wet brakes, not sure I have the skill? but well done you!
