We binned the salt bin off and replaced with an enclosed softener that doesn't use salt and needs cleaning every 2 yrs and water is softer as a result

had an issue with the above today, powered up and comes to map/saved map screen and wont go any further as the map icon stays grey, satellite symbol is showing in top left corner but thats as far as it goes. receiver shows red battery light illuminated on cab so presuming its a battery issue but...

We have mostly our own kit now as son is keen on the seat, we still call in help when needed but things like having a shovel hired in for the pit have made a big difference to clamp management now we use a wagon

But your box time would reduce with more milkings ? We are currently 6.20 but on 3.1 milkings, your maxing production per milking so I wouldn't be worried

from our 9 yrs of milking with lely a4s weve found the sweet spot is around 50 cows/ bot circa 18/1900kg but since we have put a 4th separate bot in for low yielders we can load upto 65 but still circa 18/1900 kg but the high shed will max at 145 on 3bots, if you try and push nos too far the...
