    Electric cars aren't the future

I bought a s/h pure electric Mini a year ago...thoughts so far; Most nimble, quick, fun car I have ever had. (Have had V8's petrol etc.) Costs nothing to run ( charge from a 3pin plug, 4kw f.i.t. , on a timer for daytime charging.) Perfectly suits my 2 or 3 times a week 40 mile drive on A, B &...

Finally we have received (and accepted) an offer, 21 weeks after submitting the application. Still don't know what held it up for so long.

MF135 swept axle, very heavy steering.

My `65 135 is horrid to drive, due to very heavy steering. Should the king pins be vertical, (looking from side) and angled looking from front? Anyone know what the angles should be?

    Lorry weight tickets.

Well, it looks as if I have wasted my time. 2 good tickets, 2 handwritten tickets from lorries weighload and 3 tickets not seen. NFU say put it on the Contract fairness hub, as a comment. Their legal aid will "help" by recommending a solicitor, who can write a letter for about £600 after nfu...

    Lorry weight tickets.

Update No.2 Spoke with a haulier today who collected two loads, who says he does not get paid enough to go out of his way, to go over a weighbridge, and does not know where it would be, so took the weight from his lorry. (I found it in seconds on the web, It is 10 mins to nearest.) I did get...

    Lorry weight tickets.

That "Tell AIC" link was well hidden! I did let AIC know last week, their reply was "Unfortunately, though I don’t think were going to be much help, in that we oversee the contract and ensure its fit for purpose." Not sure how that fits with "AIC takes safety and integrity of the...

    Lorry weight tickets.

What is the difference between an agent, broker or merchant? He bought and paid for it, it went from here (farm) to mills and pig farms.

    Lorry weight tickets.

I am not an expert in law, but hear stories of "perjuring the case" or something, or being sued for hurting a business I am not sure a name would help me get my weight tickets today, which is what I want.. Heck... looks like I am not getting them anyway after 2 months and 6...

    Lorry weight tickets.

An update. The trader (who claims to have traded over 2 million tonnes) sent some paperwork, which included; 2 weight tickets that I am happy with. One lorry ticket with a weight written on. (Not a weighbridge ticket) One which is hand written.... looks legit? I did get charged £8-50 for it...
