Managed to get a day off the van and get T2 done today with a splash of Easel on the poppies [emoji41]
Then decided to put a bit of growth reg, fungicide and herbicide on the Spring Wheat. [emoji4]
Just a shame I forgot to fill up with diesel, would have to run out right in the middle of the field

It's a cull then as it gets sunburned easily.
Are you really getting that much sun ot is it albino - pink eyes?

Started the day spraying some spring barley with and 8 way mix, herb, fungicide,4 micros and insecticide.
Then finished the day on some wheat t2
Everything looks very well BUT we could really do with a good rain.

I came home with the fertispreader after doing 60 acres and parked in the yard for washing out, then noticed a wren disappearing up and under the front of the cab. I hope I hadn;t ruined her chances of hatching her eggs, I hadn't noticed all the straw up there

Hasn't been that sunny but I suppose it only takes a day or two to burn.

Some blackgrass in a linseed field which has never had blackgrass in it before, got the knapsack out and rained death on it immediately.

My Brother drove up from Farnham, Surrey, took me and my Landrover and trailer to Maiden Newton, Dorset to bring back my bull calf halter trained for the Dumfries Show. Thanks to Patrick and Darlene for everything they did and to my Brother who coped well with the mileage and the delays on the M25 due to an earlier lorry fire and who is now valiantly trying to get in to central London to the theatre
