The guidance says I can claim for a water trough, but it must be 1.8m long. All the troughs that size look like a danger to lambs, has anyone got any suggestions? Tried googling but all the ones I've found are deep cattle troughs.

Sit a hollow concrete block in the end of the trough, then all but the smallest lambs will be able to scrabble out.(y)

I looked briefly at the qualifying specs, and decided that (as is usual with grant schemes) it would probably cost more than the 40% extra.
